Clinical Audit, Quality Assurance & Compliance Services

I provide clinical audit and compliance review services for behavioral health organizations and contractors, including programs working under federal, state, and other government contracts.

Depending on the needs of the organization, I can review clinical records, assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge documentation, and other required materials. For government-funded programs, reviews can also be tailored to the requirements of the contract, scope of work, agency standards, and internal policies.

My focus is not simply on whether the required paperwork is there. I look at whether the record makes clinical sense, whether the diagnosis is supported, whether treatment is appropriate for the client’s history and needs, and whether the documentation reflects the care that is actually being provided.

I can also provide ongoing or periodic audits, identify areas of concern or inconsistency, consult with clinical and program leadership, and offer practical recommendations to strengthen documentation, clinical quality, and compliance with contract requirements.
